Karelia Stetz-Waters is an English professor by day and writer by night (and early morning). Her work includes the thriller, The Admirer, The Purveyor, and a YA novel, Forgive Me If I've Told You This Before. She is a Golden Crown Literary Society finalist, a Lambda Literary Award finalist. She was included in Powell's Bookstore "Best of 2014", The Rainbow Books List Top Ten and the Top Ten Most Memorable Sentences in Fiction.

She lives with her beloved wife, Fay, her pug dog, Lord Byron, and her cat, Cyrus the Disemboweler. Her interests include large snakes, conjoined twins, corn mazes, lesbians, popular science books on neurology, and any roadside attraction that purports to have the world's largest ball of twine.
